Inaugural IN Event Improves Interoperability with Partners

At the inaugural Interoperability Network (IN) in 2008, 16 industry partners and more than 200 attendees participated in an open development discussion designed to enhance interoperability between software.

As a result of IN, Design Data's SDS/2 and Burlington Automation's PythonX Structural Fabrication Machine now interoperate better than ever before. "Our joint customers are very happy with the progress we have made," said Paul Kwiatkowski, Burlington Automation's sales manager. "With all the recent enhancements, the PythonX machine can run at its full potential."

This year's IN event offers additional opportunities for users to help shape future development. "We're looking forward to working together with Design Data and SDS/2 users to develop new enhancements in 2009," said Kwiatkowski.
