Design Data, Magnus Sponsor Canadian BIM ForumMay 3, 2010
As part of its continued focus on Building Information Modeling (BIM), Design Data recently took part in the BIM Forum, which centered on best practices for leveraging new technologies to increase efficiency and profitability. The BIM Forum was held March 25 and 26 in Toronto, Canada.
The SDS/2 booth at the event — which was cosponsored by Magnus, the Canadian distributor of SDS/2 —was staffed by Barry Butler from Design Data and Alain Gagnier from Magnus.
In addition, Butler presented at a software vendor panel on the future of BIM technology. His talk touched on key topics such as interoperability, differences between systems, the future direction of platforms, long-term goals to meet industry requirements, and how BIM can become more user friendly.
