Construction of 49ers' new stadium now begins, thanks to Super Bowl and NFL contributions. The new $1 billion stadium will cover 1.85 million square feet and will hold 68,500 seats. "...Construction activity will likely now accelerate beyond preliminary work on the 15-acre site.
