Mohawk Ironworker Featured in Short Film

A new documentary on Mohawk ironworkers is now available on YouTube. The short film showcases an ironworker named Chad Snow. Snow commutes from the Mohawk reservation near Montreal, Canada, to work in New York City.

Snow commutes 400 miles to New York City to work during the week and returns home for the weekends. Snow’s father, grandfather and great-grandfather were all ironworkers.

“Today, he leads a double life: one fast-paced and full of risk in the Big Apple and another of peace and quiet with his family on the Mohawk reservation, just south of Montreal, Canada,” the video’s description says. ”Chad’s children give him strength and remind him why he does what he does and why he risks everything for them.”
