SDS/2 INTRODUCES FORTOSI LOAD PLANNING SOLUTION

SDS/2 recently unveiled its newest solution to the market: Fortosi load planning software. So what is it, and how does it work?

A Little About Fortosi
Fortosi Load Planning software allows users to better plan fabricated steel loads by reducing the number of required truck loads, the crew needed to safely load the trucks, and the time required to do it.

How Fortosi Works
Fortosi allows users to select members from an imported IFC file, generate an accumulated weight list, and place members on to the trailer either manually or automatically. The program then performs an analysis to determine if the load on the truck is balanced and meets the truck loader's requirements, such as for height and weight. Fortosi then produces documentation — complete with a bill of lading — to direct the loader to the correct position and primary dunnage location. Watch how it works here.

Fortosi's Benefits
Fortosi impacts your bottom line in three significant ways: it reduces the number of loads via better trailer utilization; it reduces the time needed to load trailers through higher efficiency; and it reduces the required manpower to load trailers through optimization. Simply, fewer loads, less time and lower manpower means more profit. See how you can benefit here.
