At SDS/2 we’re continuing to monitor the effects and responses to COVID-19 to ensure that we’re evolving to help our customers through these challenging times.

The health of our company and yours must be our top priority right now, but we remain, as always, committed to your success.We are all in this together, and through collaboration we believe we can emerge stronger and more agile for the future. Below you will find information on the measures SDS/2 is taking to support our customers, partners, and prospects, as well as resources to help you navigate these challenges.

Support for customers working remotely 

  • For those companies looking for an easy, short term solution for employees working remotely call our team to find out how SDS/2 Cloud can help without putting further stress on your IT department.

SDS/2 personnel will be working remotely

  • We are a digital company. Our operations are unaffected by remote working and we are actively taking steps to ensure we are meeting this challenge with common sense and positivity. 
  • Support – In preparation for these events we recently invested in additional hardware and software to enable our entire support team to work from home.
  • Development – We recently invested in additional technology solutions to allow our entire development team to work remotely. We also increased our development resource by 15% to accelerate our productivity. SDS/2 2021 is on schedule.
  • Sales/Marketing Teams – Our sales team has been advised not to travel, so we’ve combined our sales and marketing team and are putting together a webinar series to help people understand and evaluate our complete product range and workflow options from the comfort of their own home. We are also expanding this team to ensure that we have the resources to create additional content.

 

Education

  • We are launching a technical webinar series for all SDS/2 customers to learn about the new SDS/2 2020 features. Visit our Upcoming Webinars page to view the schedule and register, and watch our social media pages and the SDS/2 Connector newsletter for future announcements.

 

Keeping you connected to the steel detailing community

  • Take advantage of all that your software maintenance and SDS/2 subscriptions have to offer while we all are working remotely. All current SDS/2 customers can stay connected with other SDS/2 customers through the SDS/2 Forums.

 

Online payments 

  • We have recently introduced the option to pay for software and maintenance online to ensure that your service is not interrupted by any delays in mail or payment processing. Contact Lacey in the accounting department to make your next payment or even set up scheduled automatic payments.

 

It’s looking likely that our world will look a little different for a while and the people who adapt the quickest will be the ones who emerge the strongest when the Coronavirus is defeated. Our focus is on keeping our staff safe and our customers working and connected.

We have invested in additional technology solutions to allow our entire support and development teams to work remotely, and have been expanding our development resources and team to accelerate productivity. SDS/2 2021 is on schedule, and we plan to keep it that way.
