OpenMind Voting Snapshot to be Taken October 31st

Planning for SDS/2 v2019 is well underway. All development projects fit into one of two categories: connection design (assigned to our engineering programmers); and general enhancements (assigned to other programmers). The priority lists for connection design and general enhancements will not compete in priority. A snapshot of OpenMind voting will be taken on October 31st, and those votes will be factored into these project lists.

With the release of SDS/2 2017.10, SDS/2 has introduced a new solution to the market: SDS/2 Concrete, which automates the detailing and fabricating of reinforcing steel (rebar) and tilt-up panels.

The 2017 SDS/2 Solid Steel Competition is now open. All entries, including the job and fabricator, must be received at Design Data by September 1, 2017.Entries will be evaluated equally on: aesthetics of the project; complexity (modeling difficulty, connection design); and tonnage (weight).

The annual three-day SDS/2 Users Group Conference is primarily a learning opportunity. Activities include training on specific topics determined by the Users Group, the unveiling of new enhancements, award presentations and other activities.
