Design Data Attending the North American Iron Workers/IMPACT Labor-Management Conference

This year, Design Data is proud to be attending the 2016 North American Iron Works/IMPACT Labor-Management Conference in Lake Buena Vista, Florida. 2016’s conference title is “Focus on Safety and Driving Results.” The conference and accompanying exhibition, held on February 28 through March 2, bring together ironworkers, labor management leaders, business owners and contractors in the construction industry. IMPACT is a labor management partnership designed to provide a forum for union Ironworkers and signatory contractors to address mutual concerns and encourage reasonable balanced solutions. Our own James Schwartz and Tyler Hix will be there to demonstrate SDS/2 unique detailing and connection design capabilities. AISC Accepting Applications for 2016-17 Scholarships

AISC Accepting Applications for 2016-17 Scholarships

The American Institute of Steel Construction is now accepting applications for their scholarship program for the 2016-17 academic year. Full-time seniors, juniors and masters students studying civil engineering, architectural engineering or construction management are encourage to apply for the scholarships. The AISC Education Foundation and various steel industry organizations will be awarding a total of $104,000 in scholarships.
