Model Alignment Tools

Design models are not always modeled to the same level of accuracy that is required for detailing and fabrication, meaning any time saved by importing these models may be lost by having to correct positioning and alignment of elements in SDS2. With the Model Alignment Tools, SDS2 finds and corrects model alignment issues for columns at grid lines, beam-beam or beam-column work points, and vertical brace work points. Pins are optional during the alignment process to eliminate tedious moving of work points due to revisions. Model Alignment Tools provide you with confidence of an accurate detailing model from potentially inaccurate design models.
