Kurt got his start in the steel industry in 1999 as a support representative and detailer for Steel Plus (a division of CANAM). In 2001, he moved to M&G Steel, LTD., where he has been detailing ever since and now fills a number of roles, including drafting team lead and SDS2 manager. He has served on the SDS2 Advisory Board since 2009, and was the winner of the SDS2's 2011 Code Clash winner, a Solid Steel Award in 2012, and the Connectors Club Award in 2014.
